A group of 120 young ladies will receive training and mentoring at this year's International Girls in ICT day celebration to be held at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (AITI-KACE) on Thursday 27th April 2017.

The young ladies who have been drawn from universities across Ghana will take part in activities including mentoring sessions with role models, a talk on careers & preparing for the corporate world and the effective use of social media. There will also be a practical session to introduce the ladies to computer programming.

The International Girls in ICT Day, is an initiative that aims to create a global environment that empowers and encourages girls and young women to consider careers in the growing field of ICT, enabling both young women and technology companies to reap the benefits of greater female participation in the ICT sector.
