Over the past 19 years Dr. Suaad has been working in digital transformation delivering national initiatives which require close collaboration between government on federal and local levels as well as private sector. Dr. Suaad is leading number of key initiatives defined in the national plan that have increased the government efficiency and effectiveness in delivering digital services and had a direct positive impact on the life of citizen such as Government Service Bus, Service Modernization (e.g. New Born Baby), and Digital Trust Platform. Dr.Suaad is actively engaged in Blockchain and AI initiatives.


H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti
H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti Head of Cyber Security United Arab Emirates Government, UAE

H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti was appointed by the Cabinet as the Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government since 2020. As the Head of Cyber Security, his mandate includes responsibilities as the Chairman of the UAE Cyber Security Council as well as Managing Director of the National Data Centre under the Supreme Council for National Security. He is also working as Assistant Professor (Adjunct) of Homeland Security Program at Rabdan Academy. In his current role Dr. Al Kuwaiti aims to create a fully governed approach to data privacy, sharing and processing as well as the unification and connectivity of government systems and digitization towards a smart government. His interests are consulting on detecting, monitoring and responding to cyber warfare, Network Forensics, Corporate Governance & Process, and national cyber policy. He is an honorable member of Society of Engineers –UAE, IEEE Society, Golden Key National Honor Society and Computer Society. He is a visiting lecturer on Cyber Security at few universities such as Khalifa University and National Defense College in Abu Dhabi


H.E. Dr. Ohoud Ali Shehail

Dr. Ohoud Ali Shehail is an ambitious and accomplished Emirati woman who has carved out a successful career through perseverance and determination. She holds numerous prestigious academic qualifications, including a Ph.D. in Business Administration, an MBA, and a master's in strategic and security studies.

Throughout her career, Dr. Shehail has held several high-level government positions, and she currently serves as the Director General of the Department of Digital Ajman. She is a member of various influential national committees and councils, such as the Executive Council of Ajman, the Cybersecurity Council, and the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transactions Council.

Dr. Shehail is known for her strong belief in teamwork and her exceptional administrative and strategic capabilities. She has represented the UAE at numerous local and regional forums. Her famous quote reflects her drive and patriotism: "As Emiratis, we are required to create success wherever we go, for in our hearts lie the ambitions of leaders, the will of the people, and the legacy of our nation."

Dr. Ohoud Ali Shehail is a highly accomplished and influential Emirati leader who has significantly contributed to her country's development and digital transformation.

H.E. Mr. Matar Saeed AlHemeiri
H.E. Mr. Matar Saeed AlHemeiri Chief Executive Digital Dubai Government Establishment, UAE

As of June 2023, H.E. Matar Saeed AlHemeiri has been appointed as Chief Executive of the Digital Dubai Government Establishment, part of Digital Dubai, the government entity entrusted with Dubai’s city-wide digital transformation  envisioned by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.


With over 20 years of experience in serving the government, AlHemeiri has played a vital role in leading teams and supervising strategies towards achieving impactful projects in digitizing government services and city experiences.


Prior to his current role, AlHemeiri was the Assistant CEO of the Smart Dubai Government Establishment overseeing all aspects of the Shared Government Services at the entity, the digital infrastructure for the city services, Government Shared Data Centers and other digital products and services. 


AlHemeiri graduated from the American University of Sharjah in 2002 and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer  Engineering. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in International Business from the University of Wollongong Dubai.


Dr. Mariam Alyousuf AlSuwaid
H.E. Dr. Mariam Alyousuf Al Suwaidi Deputy Director General for Operational Affairs Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), UAE

Dr. Mariam Alyousuf AlSuwaidi, is the Deputy Director General of the operational affairs at Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), in charge of supervising the sectors of agricultural affairs; animal wealth; development & innovation; and control & inspection. Dr. Mariam is supporting the development, empowerment, and compliance of agricultural and livestock production supports research and data analysis to develop the sector and ensures oversight of food safety and biosecurity. She held the position of the Executive Director of the Control sector at ADAFSA for five years, she oversaw the enforcement and inspection roles in the field of food and agriculture (plant and animal domain). She was the Executive Director of the Policy and Regulation sector in ADAFSA for 8 years (2008 - 2016). Dr Mariam has led the establishment of the policy and regulatory platform pertaining to agriculture and food safety domains within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and effectively contributed to developing the strategic plan for the Authority as well as capacity building. Dr. Mariam played an important role on the national and GCC level in food safety domain. Dr Mariam used to be a board member of the Zoo and Aquarium Public Institution in Al Ain in UAE since 2017 until 2021. She has previously occupied the post of the Assistant Director General of the Food Safety Sector during 2006-2007.  In 2005 she was the executive director of the drug division in ADAFSA. In 2004 she worked as Director of Research in Zayed Complex for Herbal Research and Traditional Medicine. In 2002, she worked in the United Arab Emirates University as Assistant Professor in the College of Science, Department of Chemistry.

Dr. Mariam received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Physics, University of the United Arab Emirates in 1989; and Master of Science in Environmental Sciences, UAE University in 1995; and her PhD in Chemistry of Medicinal Plants from the University of Portsmouth, UK, School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, in 2002; and received her second master's degree in Security and Strategic Studies, from the National Defense college in the UAE in 2016.

Dr. Mariam further received 34 certificates of appreciation and award. She participated in around 46 international, regional, and local conferences workshops and seminars, presented number of scientific papers in various fields included: food safety, agriculture and animal wealth policies and legislation, food crisis and incident management, medicinal plants. Moreover, she published (16) scientific papers in internationally peer-reviewed journals.
