Danil Kerimi is an experienced technology and public relations executive with a track record of delivering impactful projects in corporate strategy, national, urban and corporate digital transformation, emerging tech, economic and municipal diplomacy in developed, emerging and frontier markets. Currently, Mr. Kerimi serves on the boards of World Smart Sustainable Cities Organization (Seoul), World Intellectual Property Organization (Geneva), The Council of the Great Lakes Region (Toronto) and SealSQ (Nasdaq: LAES). Previously, Mr. Kerimi has worked with Amazon Web Services, World Economic Forum and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. He is a graduate of Shandong University (LLB), Diplomatic Academy of Vienna (MA), various executive courses at Columbia, FT, Harvard, INSEAD, MIT, NUS, Wharton and Witwatersrand and is currently completing his doctoral degree at the Technical University of Munich and the Bavarian School of Governance.

In addition to his thirty years of international experience as an economist in the United Nations and at the World Bank, Dr Bruno Lanvin has been teaching and leading research projects in various first-tier universities in the US and Europe (Michigan State University, INSEAD, IMD e.g.). Initially a mathematician and a specialist of international trade, his research and publications have focused on information technology, innovation and talent strategies. He has over forty years of experience in advising governments and large corporations. During his ten years at the World Bank, he held various high-level positions, in which he contributed to assisting a large number of organizations and governments in designing their knowledge and high-level education strategies. He also worked with the European Commission on various aspects of Europe’s skills and re-skilling policies and strategies. Since 2001, Dr Lanvin has been co-authoring four major indices: the Global Information Technology Report (NRI), the Global Innovation Index Report (GII), the Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI), and the Smart City Index ‘SCI), as well as the award-winning book ‘Sixteen Shades of Smart’. Over the last decade, his research has very much focused on education and talent policies as a tool to accelerate growth. Through his responsibilities as a board member of various private and public organizations, he was able to heighten interest for education and talent strategies, and to promote the strategic formulation of knowledge strategies. He holds a BA in Mathematics and Physics, an MBA (HEC, a PhD in Economics (Paris I)-La Sorbonne), and is an alumnus of INSEAD (IDP-C) and MIT (Beyond Smart Cities Certificate). A frequent speaker at high-level meetings, he has been a member of numerous boards for many years, including those of ICANN, IDA-Infocomm, GovTech, IP-Watch, AAID, Kazakhstan’s Presidential Board on ICT Strategy, and the Bin Rashid Foundation for Government Innovation. He has also been a frequent speaker at the World Economic Forum, and chaired the Forum’s Global Advisory Group on ‘Future of Government’. 

Deniz Susar is a Governance and Public Administration Officer, Digital Government Branch, Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government is a Governance and Public Administration Officer at the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government of UNDESA. Deniz’s main work areas include digital government and preparation of the biannual UNDESA flagship publication ‘United Nations E-Government Survey'. As part of his current role, he also supports the Internet Governance Forum (IGF). His main research areas include e-government, open government, citizen engagement, internet governance, artificial intelligence and other frontier technologies and open government data. Deniz holds a Master Degree on International Political Economy and Development from Fordham University, New York, United States and a Computer Engineering degree from the Bosphorus University of Istanbul, Turkey.

Prior to her appointment as Secretary-General of WeGO, Jung Sook Park has dedicated her career in the field of international cooperation. She served as the Korean Representative of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations (GAVI) for ten years from 2009 to 2018, and she worked as a high-profile broadcaster as the host of morning news shows for major TV networks in Korea for over ten years from 1994 to 2004, as well as starring in “Jewel in the Palace,” one of the highest-rated TV dramas in the world. Since then, she has focused her career on education and research as a professor at Kyung Hee University and an adjunct professor of cultural diplomacy at the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

She served as the honorary ambassador for Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and the City of Seoul with a mission of increasing public awareness on Korea’s leading and responsible role in the international community. As a philanthropist, she is the Founder and Executive Director of the Multicultural Network & Hope Kids Korea, an NGO that provides education and mentoring for underprivileged children in Korea. Ms. Park is a graduate of Seoul Women’s University (BA), Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (MIA), and Yonsei University’s School of Public Administration (MPA) in Korea. She was a visiting scholar and studied in a doctoral program at Keio University.
