“Computers to Educate” is a Government program responsible for bridging the social and regional gap of Colombia by bringing ICTs to children in rural and remote zones of Colombia and by training teachers with technology. Its commitment is to contribute to the improvement of educational quality in public schools. This program also contributes to the conservation of the environment, with the reception, refurbishment and demanufacture of obsolete computers, so that reduces paper usage, reducing deforestation and also generating savings in carbon emissions, partially replacing the purchase of new equipment for education and thus preserving the environment.
