The Safeer Program was created to address the critical need to support Saudi students and Cultural Missions around the world. This effort was designed to further develop Saudi's Information Society commitment to gender equality, citizens education and empowerment, and social justice among citizens. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia invested a significant budget on a massive scholarship program to advance the citizens' education to higher levels of knowledge, research, and openess on the world through an integrated online system. Safeer system gives priority to disabled students.
