Innovations….is a series edited by the regional administration– the Marshal’s Office of the Lodzkie Region since 2009. The first publication is a result of the international conference called “Innovations 2009. Man and technologies” that was organized by the Lodzkie Region. In 2010 a European co-funded project called “Innovations 2010. Promotion and Communication” has been realized by the Lodzkie Region. A publication is one of its main products. As a consequence, in terms of project’s durability each year another publication (in paper or/and e-book form) is being edited. In 2014 its sixth edition has been published.

The first edition of the publication had an international aspect. It consisted of articles and presentations from the conference entitled "Innovations 2009 - man and technologies" in which several international partners took part, e.g. representatives from Italy (Piemonte Region), The Netherlands (Close the Gap) or Lithuania (Association LIA).
