Agreement to strengthen and consolidate the commercial capacity and support international promotion of Mipymes of the IT and Digital Content industries.

Description

The Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications and Procolombia have developed, since 2012, strategies to strengthen and consolidate the commercial capacity and support international promotion of Mipymes of the IT and Digital Content industries, therefore contributing to the increase of sales in the sector, in accordance to Vive Digital Plan. Since 2012 until March 2015, 931 IT and Digital Content companies have benefited by this agreement, exporting to more than 50 countries in Europe, the Americas and Asia, valued in US$166.523.099. Also, this synergy allowed the launching of the “Colombia Bring IT On” campaign to promote the industry abroad.
