Informatization of the Public Health System


Description

Informatization of the Public Health System in Cuba contributes to the needs of a developing country according to the government's policy to create a high efficiency information system, responding to the health care of citizens with high quality and reliable health information. It promotes medical training, education and research through the use of ICT, the development of human capacities, protecting the privacy of citizens.

The project has been developed over 15 years, allowing the management of the health system at all levels, focusing on the early detection of diseases and promoting transparency in public administrations and strengthening relations with citizens.
