Our mission: is to prepare girls for STEM studies and while they are at studies, prepare them for ICT labour market through internship with ICT companies.

The girls go IT program created single-handedly a new generation of girls active in IT. One of the few donor-funded programs in Moldova to be present in virtually all districts, include many minorities and marginalised groups, and be already self-sustainable after just one year.

A new mentality has emerged where girls have as much as boys an option to choose profitable IT careers (one of the few viable, economically attractive career paths for young Moldovans today). Attitude of parents, teachers and employers has changed thanks to this program and its demonstrated success.
