WSIS Prizes Contest 2023 Champion

Zain Innovation Campus

Description

The establishment of Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) in Jordan . Zain Innovation Campus was created to enable women youth to convert their innovative ideas into productive start-up projects, to be marketed locally, regionally and globally. In Q4 2013, Zain launched a program, Zain AlMubadara, aimed at supporting entrepreneurial projects for women aged 18 to 28 years. Zain AlMubadara was the first initiative to be introduced by Zain Jordan, and it attracted 150 projects across the Kingdom and in various fields and domains.

Following the above, in January 2014, Zain established a dedicated Corporate Entrepreneurship Responsibility (CER) division, within the company’s corporate structure, where Zain became the first company in the region where its organizational structure includes an assigned section to support and develop start-up projects submitted by young entrepreneurs.
