The aimed solution is to provide easy-tousetechnologies and services in socialhousing flats to allow a better qualityof communication and a better accessto package services from the elders;by experimenting a European modelof “connected flats” for elder people,characterised by specific equipmentsenabling easier relations with, family,service providers and housing operators.The partners of the project will developa digital infrastructure of the socialhousing and a gateway to their services.The expected impacts on a Europeanscale will be:s An overall assessment (technology,usages, interface, contents, communication…)of such a device to capitalizedon the project managements Experimentation of business modelsfor service providers, social housingoperators and elderly tenants (whatkind of opportunities induced by mutualisation?)s A cross fertilization process betweendifferent countries and different practicesthat could contribute to a longterm “share of experiences”s The sketch of a standard architectureto help the spreading of related projects
