Successful implementation of Women in Cybersecurity Project in Kazakhstan will be good example of promoting Open Standards, Security and Resiliency of the Internet and attracting more women in ICT.
The project has good chances to be sustainable because Kazakhstan experiences big shortage of trained and certified Cyber Security professionals. The project in future will be supported by national and international women development programs.
Traditional mentality of the people of Kazakhstan would negatively influence female students to choose carrier in Cyber Security. This project aims to reduce the digital gender gap and build confidence and security in the use of ITCs
