The APT Training Course on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analysis aims to help developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region build their ICT capabilities, facilitate their sustainable ICT talent development and improve their ICT development. Since 2017, the CAICT East China Branch has undertaken APT training on a yearly basis. This is highly consistent with the WSIS action lines for achieving sustainable development goals. This project has trained more than 70 trainees from 22 Asia-Pacific countries and has built an open and equal communication platform for ICT experts in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, the CAICT East China Branch works with partners to continuously optimize and iterate course content to ensure the sustainability of the training. Quality training content is also replicated and disseminated on other platforms to benefit ICT professionals from more countries.

The APT Training Course on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analysis has a mature training operation team and a complete supporting process. A training model featuring courses and observations, which is easy to replicate, has been developed. This model is also applied to other international and domestic training hosted by the CAICT East China Branch to facilitate periodic and cross-regional project replication. We also share quality training content on other online and offline platforms to widely disseminate them. They have been well received by people from all walks of life.

The CAICT East China Branch has been hosting APT training since 2017. This training has a profound significance for ICT development in the Asia-Pacific region, as it enhances the technological strength of countries through talent development, thus promoting economic development. After four years of experience accumulated, the CAICT East China Branch has an experienced training team, a mature and flexible training mechanism and great partners. We also boast the support of sustainable human and financial resources and continuously optimized sustainable development capabilities to ensure smooth training operation.

During APT training, ICT elites such as Asia-Pacific government officials and technicians who participate in the training will share advanced knowledge and applications. The training can enhance mutual exchange and connection, promote the concept of sustainable development and generate the WSIS Action Lines for achieving sustainable development goals. The training can ingrain the achievement of sustainable development goals in each participant. They will then try to achieve the goals during their work, thereby contributing to the economic development of the Asia-Pacific region.
