Description

As part of the Ministry of Health and Prevention's keenness to implement the smart government initiative, through the development of health information systems and applying global standards in the management of infrastructure for health facilities, in line with the National agenda objectives to implement a health system based on the highest international standards. The Ministry of Health and Prevention has launched Manara platform which is considered a centralized platform that helps end users in accessing different available dashboards created by Ministry of Health and Prevention, in order get the updated information easily for different specialties, analyse it and take the right decision based on the electronic medical record “Wareed".
The platform aims to point out all critical and non-critical cases to be solved and taken into consideration, and prepare contingency plans to be able to avoid futuristic issues, track the data and have a database , as well as helping in decision making and have one interface that shows you all data in a summarized and efficient way. That will save time efficient since it doesn't take very long time to analyze the data.
The scope of Manara Platform applies to MOHAP's top management, executives and decision makers as it provides a comprehensive view on Manara platform and its documentation process.
The Manara platform provides operational and clinical dashboards, based on the science of data analysis which is used to predict. It enables stakeholders to make decisions and plan to respond proactively. It also allows stakeholders to view the requested information report in one quick glance, where the dashboards are designed to be intuitive to any user, and the graphic design allows an easy and smooth navigation throughout the information.

Sustainability

the adoption of suitable indicators is fundamental to implement sustainable development at the local level. It helps in the analysis and evaluation; supports the decisional process and helps the communication between the managements , citizens and the UAE society, in general.Further more, the aggregated indexes – by representing the observed context in a simple way – may help the community in the definition of effective improvement goals and also serve as important tools to monitor the fulfillment of the planned objectives. Manara Dashboard is a mathematical and graphical tool designed to integrate the complex influences of health dara and support the decision-making process by creating concise evaluations. The available data were sufficient to design MORE THAN 23 CUSTOM REPORTS WERE CREATED FOR MANAGING DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF THE PANDEMIC USING DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGIES. SOME OF THESE REPORTS ARE FULLY AUTOMATED AND SHARED WITH DIFFERENT STAKEHOLDERS AT REGULAR INTERVALS OF TIME FOR POINT-IN-TIME SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS. THE BUSINESS NEED FOR THESE OPERATIONAL REPORTS WERE MAINLY: 1) IDENTIFYING THE CRITICAL TRENDS 2) PRESERVING CRITICAL RESOURCES 3) PREDICTING SURGES 4) REDUCING THE REPORTING BURDEN ACROSS SITES 5) ACCELERATING DATA ACCESS 6) CREATING EFFICIENCIES IN COVID-19 OPERATIONS

WSIS values promotion

The value of conjoined data and interoperability across a population has been highlighted by this pandemic. A new web form was built that allows the country’s private health systems to report COVID-19 information to MOHAP electronically, including significant data points like patient flow and mortality. The data was aggregated and MOHAP and other government entities used this data to help coordinate a nationwide response to the pandemic, it was created to visualize availability of critical resources including ventilators. Front line care providers required statistical insights on the population data to customize the treatment protocols. Daily morning and evening situational reports published to MOHAP COVID taskforce and operations team provided insights on status of currently admitted patients, beds availability across different hospitals & surge sites, COVID-19 PCR testing trends, new cases etc. These situational reports helped MOHAP to always stay up to date on the situation at the ground and tailor made their plan for each day / week which tremendously helped in controlling the pandemic in the country
