Vision-based waste sorting machine

Description

Waste separation is an important step in the recycling process to preserve the environment.
The idea is to build a vision-based waste sorting machine.
This machine consists of: A treadmill - a camera - a robot arm - a computer with a GPU graphics card for image processing.
The waste passes on the treadmill under the camera. The camera sends the images to the computer. the latter uses Artificial Intelligence techniques to detect and recognize objects.
The computer sends a signal to the robot arm with the object's coordinates (x, y). The robot arm picks up the object and places it in a container.
