UAE Cyber Pulse


Description

The UAE Government Cyber Security Council has launched the "Cyber Pulse" initiative, which aims to ensure a safe digital transformation for individuals and sectors in the country. The initiative is designed to enable the use of digital technology in a safer environment and contribute to the country's goals of sustainable development. The UAECSC seek to transform cybersecurity into a common and permanent concern for society. This is because securing the country's cyberspace is the responsibility of all individuals and society.

The first phase of the initiative, called the "Women's Cyber Pulse Initiative," in cooperation with the General Women's Union. The initiative included a training workshop for 50 female participants to provide them with advanced knowledge and expertise in cybersecurity. The goal of the workshop, which will be followed by additional workshops, is to have each trainee become a channel for spreading cyber awareness to as many members of society as possible and to train other groups of women. By continuing to provide training and increasing awareness, the initiative aims to extend the reach of cybersecurity to all segments and regions of society.

The Project has 3 Components:
1- Cyber Preventive Shield: which focuses on building capacity and increase the techncial expertise of employees to reduce cyber threats and attacks.
2- Cyber Pulse: Community focused program that provides awareness to all community segments.
3- Cyber Future Leaders: A program that focuses on the organizational leadership of all UAE entities starting with CXOs all the way down to managers and directors.

The project is replicable as it has a clear and straightforward plan that can be easily followed by others. This plan includes all the necessary steps and resources needed to successfully implement the cyber pulse project. Cyber Pulse is designed in a way that allows it to be adapted to different environments and situations including countries at different levels of technological maturity. while still achieving its intended goals. Additionally, the project is well documented and include detailed instructions, so that others can easily replicate it.

The project has a diverse group of stakeholders in its development and planning. additionally, all materials, outputs, documents, training guides will be shared with the ITU for further implementation

WSIS values promotion

To promote WSIS values, UAE CSC is conducting the following steps Educate the community about the WSIS values and their importance. Advocate for the WSIS values the community and among decision-makers. Support organizations and initiatives that are working to promote the WSIS values. Encourage the adoption of policies and practices that are consistent with the WSIS values.
