All web technologies are available for free. AMR platform can be replicated at any time.
All required IT infrastructure was provided by KACST to guarantee the sustainability of the ARM platform.
AMR Surveillance includes complex data generated from one single patient needed an analysis of several organisms. When AMR surveillance data are captured by any clinical laboratory, only IT solutions can easily handle and consolidate the information to allow timely and comprehensive analysis locally and nationally. Computers can be utilized to study the emergence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and to discover an outbreak within a hospital, community or nationally. The benefits of automation offered by the software, hardware, and IT infrastructure are essential for any AMR surveillance system.
