The project activities were concerned to fulfilled the objectives to contribute to a more divers and plural media environment. Increase access to information for citizens in the rural areas of Bangladesh, specially focus on marginalized communities (women and Dalits) was also the main focus to achieve this goals. The specific and expected outcomes for the programme during this period (January to June, 2017: Improved enabling environment for community media in terms of legislation and towards access to information and Right to Information The access, participation and voice of women and marginalized communities in community media is increased Community radios full-fill a watchdog role and hold local authorities accountable in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals through monitoring their actions The above concerns would contribute in achieving the common objective of strategic partnership project .i.e. media and journalists, as independent players in civil society, constitute a diverse and professional information landscape and function as catalysts for change.
