The official internet-portal of drafts of laws and regulations of the Arkhangelsk Region (the Legislative Drafts Portal)
Description *
Within the framework of the democracy development process, the project aimed at creating “The official internet-portal of laws and regulations drafts of the Arkhangelsk Region” promotes transparency in drafting the regional legislation. To improve public administration efficiency, the Legislative Drafts Portal helps conduct independent expertise of the regional legislative drafts from the standpoint of execution of governmental functions and services by the Arkhangelsk region executive authorities. For the purpose of achieving a more efficient allocation of resources and public goods, all regional laws and regulations drafts are subject to independent anti-corruption examination which is easily implemented due to the Legislative Drafts Portal. And last but not least, to improve transparency of the legislative process and to strengthen relations with citizens of the Arkhangelsk region, the Legislative Drafts Portal allows to conduct a wide public discussion of drafts of laws and regulations and to engage the public in making administrative decisions.
