The big data platform of smart city constructing and demographic dynamic monitoring

The project is about telecom operator’s big data platform in the smart city constructing and demographic dynamic monitoring fields, through which we have carried out researches and application with big data technology and artificial intelligence technology on city planning and population management fields, it helps to improve city planning and population management capability for public management departments, and enhances public information service ability. Through this ICT project, we analyze demographic layout, commuter path and income demographics in Nanjing by using the telecom operator's mobile signaling data. Based on this platform, we have completed the planning and site selection analysis of Nanjing North Railway Station, expressway congestion analysis and precaution, the residents’ commuter analysis and the tourist information service. The project is consistent with sustainable development goals in building elastic infrastructure, promoting sustainable industry, promoting innovation, and promoting economic growth as well as making cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. The project can be replicated in many medium and big-sized cities in the world, and it has strong sustainability, which is conducive to the construction of information society, the development of partnership and the creation of good communities.
