Information about the project
Limitless Ambitions
In line with the nation’s long term vision, UAE women continue to make significant strides forward through the support of the nation’s wise and prudent leadership, making the UAE woman a key partner in sustainable development and the ongoing rise of the nation. The UAE General Women’s Union, guided by H.H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak has been tirelessly developing and implementing plans, policies and initiatives to boost the status of women, empower them and to overcome obstacles that hinder their full participation in the building of the nation. Processes include developing strategies, conducting research, and encouraging women’s participation in politics and decision-making. Aligning with the best global practices, the union’s key initiatives range from health education to technological literacy, social awareness and support, and equal opportunities. The focus is on participation, production and entrepreneurship – in addition to programs to develop innovation and creativity in the new generation.
National implementation: United Arab Emirates
