Bangladesh NGOs Network for Radio & Communication( BNNRC) has been implementing the project Empowering Third Gender through Community Radio in Bangladesh having partnership with 16 Community Radio Stations in Bangladesh. The objective of the project are to create awareness on third gender issues towards establishing their human dignity in the society. The project activities are – production and on air of radio program on Empowering Third Gender through Community Radio in Bangladesh covering the issues- accessing healthcare, education, job, public transportation and constitutional rights. This project contributed in better understanding using Community Radio on third gender issues and facilitated access to public services and other facilitates through community radio program.
