Description *
The Prisoner Transfer System (HUNSIS) has been completed and opened for the purpose of ensuring to increase the affordability of transfer requests of sentenced persons by their own will and to reduce the workload of personnel of the General Directorate of Penal Institutions and Detention Houses, for the efficient use of institutional capacities and public resources. The transfers are made prisons to prisons in an electronic form in accordance with the legislation. It is aimed to notify the convicts and adjudicators on the spot and to reduce the workload that will occur in the next stages. Before the project, requests sent to the General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses, then checked by the personnel of the General Directorate, and application results sent to the penitentiaries by means of postal physical documents.
