Uniform Lesson On Internet Safety
Uniform Lesson On In
The Uniform Lesson is a series of activities for children aimed for improvement of cyber safety and digital education level as well as attraction of parents’ and teachers’ attention to the safety provision problem and children development in the digital space. The Uniform Lesson was initiated by Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko, chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly (Senate) of the Russian Federation. Representatives of governmental authorities, companies and the public participate the Uniform Lesson. At the Uniform Lesson, students learn how to protect their personal data, how to purchase safely in online shops, learn to analyze credibility and reliability of the information found in Internet, and many other things. Formation of information- and digital-awareness of the population is one of the main priorities not only in the maintenance of digital independence of a country and formation of all fields of information society, but also in provision of the digital economics development. In 2018, the Uniform Lesson will be held for 5th time – 11,000,000 teenagers participated the Uniform Lesson in 2014, 13,000,000 in 2015, 12,400,000 in 2016 and over 9,000,000 in 2017. Currently, the Uniform Lesson is the major event for children in Russia and the most important event in the field of digital safety for children. This is precisely why the nomination of the Uniform Lesson for the Award was supported by the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and 26 subjects (regions) of the Russian Federation.

Non-commercial organizations: NCO «Safe Internet League», Coordination center of Internet national domain, Smart Internet Fund, Internet Development Institute, Russian State Children’s Library, Regional Public Organization “Center of Internet Technologies”; 2. Commercial organizations: JSC «Group-IB», JSC «Kaspersky Laboratory», JSC «Rostelecom», JSC «Yandex»; 3. State authorities: Permanent Committee of the Union State of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Ministry of communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and all administration authorities of the territorial subjects (regions) of the Russian Federation. 4. Over 39 000 educational institutions of Russia that give the Uniform lesson for their students.
