Spectrum Policy and Planning

Introduction

NTC is an independent body that regulates and supervises all the telecommunication services trough out the country. Its mission is to provide an environment that ensures reliable, affordable and viable infrastructure and services in information and communications technology (ICT) accessible to all.

Legislation

It uses the act RA 7925 (Public Telecommunications Policy Act), EO545 series of 1979 to give permission of radio stations and to give license for mobile service.

It uses Radio Control Law,Act.No.3846,as amended, and Executive Order No.546,dated 23 July 1979 to monitor radio service equipments.
