Spectrum Policy and Planning

Introduction

The authority is responsible for the managing, monitoring and inspecting the spectrum.

Legislation

The authority collects the license fee of radio spectrum as according to the Cabinet decision dated 2003/6689, published in the Official Gazette, dated 02/01/2004, and numbered 25334.

It aims to harmonizes with EU law titled “Institution Building of Telecommunications Authority”

Radio Frequency Register

t uses international frequency registration process for radio frequencies used in radio and television system. Various studies have been taken place for managing amateur services.
Administrative method is used for distributing frequencies and collecting fees.
