These papers at K-2013 focused on multidisciplinary aspects of future ICTs including future services and applications demand as well as socio-economic, cultural, ethical, legal, and sustainable development policy aspects of communities of the future. These conference proceedings include the full text of papers accepted for lecture and poster presentations (after a double-blind review by a panel of over 140 subject matter experts), as well as three invited papers and a summary of the keynote speeches.
