​​The BDT Director attended the SAMENA Telecommunications Council Leaders' Summit in Dubai. In his opening remarks, the BDT Director highlighted the critical importance of digital transformation, AI, the digital economy, and cybersecurity, emphasizing the need for collaboration, sustainability, and investment in these areas. The Director also moderated a session on 'Digital Innovation & Choice,' at the summit which examined the role of regulation in promoting innovation, the development of policy and legal frameworks, financing to support innovation and scaling, and ensuring consumer choice and affordability.​​
