This Recommendation defines the ratio UER10 as an indicator for impact of ICT-equipment operating-lifetime extension on the resulting GWP. UER10 can help the practitioner to get an idea of the relative significance of use stage GHG emissions vs embodied emissions of a product over its lifetime.
