This Recommendation provides guidance for applying the concepts of the ITU-T Recommendation X.805 architecture to division of security controls between the telecommunication networks (including service provider's and/or application provider's networks) and the end user's equipment. The Recommendation also defines the factors that must be taken into account in setting up or dividing the interaction of security controls belonging to the telecommunication network and the users. In addition, a classification of security controls for telecommunication is given.
