Amendment 1 updates Recommendation ITU-T X.1086 to incorporate multiple biometrics information in telebiometric protection procedures by modifying Summary, Keywords, Scope, References, Definitions, Abbreviations and Acronyms, and Bibliography. The amendment defines new vulnerabilities and protection guidelines in four different fusion levels for multibiometric system: sample-level, feature-level, score-level, and decision-level, for multibiometric systems. Amendment 1 adds Appendix V to provide applicable techniques for protecting multibiometric data.
