With the increase of new technologies of Energy Storage available there is a need for a global overview of Energy Storage system for use in stationary ICT installation in network, data centre and CPE, and simple and not too long evaluation and characterization methods for this specific purpose. This document introduce an open series of documents for different families of technologies (batteries systems, super-capacitors systems, …) that will be enriched progressively when new technologies appear with a possible significant impact.
