The evolved NGN adopts the technology of network function virtualization. This draft Recommendation will focus on the functions, functional entities and reference points of VCNMO (Virtualized Control Network-entity Management and Orchestrator) and its subcomponents in the architecture of VCN.This draft Recommendation defines the functional architecture of VCNMO and specifies the related reference points of VCNMO, which includes orchestrator, VCNM and VIM of VCN.The architecture design of this draft recommendation will fulfill the requirements proposed by ITU-T Y.2320.The high level description of functions and interfaces related on orchestrator, VCNM and VIM in this recommendation are consistent with the functions and interfaces standardized in Y.NGN-VCN-arch in the VCN's scope.
