This Recommendation describes key management for quantum key distribution (QKD) networks which address technical specifications to help the implementation and operation. In particular, the scope of this Recommendation includes: - overview to key management in a QKD network (QKDN); - functional elements of key management; - operations of key management, and - key formats (key data and metadata).
