This Recommendation describes the concept, architecture and information flows for bootstrapping of devices and applications by network operators, by providing: - a bootstrapping concept for entities requiring open access to trusted services in their interactions; - the requirements imposed on the entities for enabling the bootstrapping capabilities; - a reference model showing the elements required for bootstrapping; - a functional architecture diagram showing functions, reference points and security parameters; and - information flows for the operation of the bootstrapping processes.
