– 107 – (3.4 – Other conferences and related matters) taking into consideration that Resolution 75 (WTSA, 2008) resolved to request the Council to establish, as an integral part of WG-WSIS, a Dedicated Group on international Internet-related public policy issues, open only to all Member States, tasked to identify, study and develop matters related to international Internet-related public policy issues, to disseminate its outputs throughout ITU’s membership, and to contribute to the work of WG-WSIS on international Internet-related public policy issues within the mandate of ITU pursuant to the relevant resolutions of the Plenipotentiary Conference (Antalya, 2006) and 2007 Council Resolution 1282, recognizing a) that Council endorsed the WG-WSIS Reports (Council Documents C07/21, C08/50), b) that Council 2008 endorsed the request of WTSA-08 to establish, as an integral part of WG-WSIS, a Dedicated Group on international Internet-related public policy issues, open only to all Member States, noting that the ITU Secretary-General created the ITU WSIS Task Force, whose role is to formulate strategies and coordinate ITU’s policies and activities in relation to WSIS and that this Task Force is chaired by the Deputy Secretary-General, resolves 1 that the Council Working Group on WSIS, open to all Member States and Sector Members, should continue its work with the revised terms of reference as shown in the Annex; 2 to establish as an integral part of WG-WSIS a Dedicated Group on international Internet-related public policy issues, open only to all Member States, in accordance with Resolution 75 (WTSA-08), instructs the Secretary-General 1 to develop a roadmap for ITU’s activities within its mandate in the WSIS implementation up to 2015, to be presented to the next Council via WG-WSIS; 2 in preparation for the Internet Governance Forums, to take into account the proposals of WG-WSIS adopted by the relevant Council sessions, 3 to take into consideration the outputs of WG-WSIS in the WSIS Task Force’s activities; 4 to consider the identification of extra-budgetary resources, to facilitate the implementation of WSIS outcomes, in addition to regular budgetary resources allocated to the ITU Strategic Plan, invites the Secretary-General to encourage UNGIS to develop a global roadmap for the implementation of WSIS outcomes up to 2015, instructs the Secretary-General and the Directors of the Bureaux 1 in addition to focal points for WSIS action lines C2 and C5, to appoint other focal points for action lines C1, C3, C4, C6, C7, C8 and C11, where ITU is a co-facilitator or partner;
