– 115 – (3.4 – Other conferences and related matters) d) Opinion 6 of the World Telecommunication Policy Forum (Lisbon, 2009); e) the section regarding the World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT) set forth in the rolling Operational Plans (Document C09/14); f) Resolution 156 (Antalya, 2006), Scheduling of conferences, considering 1 that all Member States should have the opportunity to contribute to further work on this topic; 2 that the financial impact of further studies must be carefully considered, resolves 1 that a Council Working Group to Prepare for the 2012 World Conference on International Communications (CWG-WCIT12) be created with the Terms of Reference as shown in Annex 1 of this Resolution; 2 that the Group will hold meetings as set forth in Annex 2 of this Resolution; 3 that the Group submit progress reports to Council 2010 and 2011; 4 that the Group submit a report to the 2010 Plenipotentiary Conference; 5 that the Group present its final report, well in advance of WCIT, for the use of Member States in preparing their proposals to that conference; 6 that the Group’s final report be submitted to WCIT by the Secretary-General, instructs the Secretary-General and the Directors of the Bureaux to make available to this Group the means necessary to implement the provisions of this resolution, within the available financial resources of the Union, invites the relevant Study Groups within the three Sectors each within its field of competence to carry out any further necessary studies aimed at preparing for WCIT and to report to the Group, as appropriate, invites Member States and Sector Members to contribute to the work.
