The BDT Director attended the 1st Edition of the AI Summit and Mauritius Emerging Technologies Exhibition (METX) and participated in the Expert Panel Discussion regarding how international organizations are shaping AI's future. The Director underscored the importance of international collaboration, including with organizations like UNHCR, in advancing AI and digital technologies for an inclusive and sustainable digital future. During the event, he toured the exhibition with the Vice-President of Mauritius and met with the President at the State House to discuss the impact of AI on worldwide digital transformation.
