Special Category to be granted to all participants on arrival in Vanuatu Latest visa information from the Immigration Department of Vanuatu The Director of Immigration of Vanuatu has issued an Information Note certifying that ALL participants and their accompanying family members will be granted a Special Category Visa on arrival in Vanuatu to participate in the 19th Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR-19), to be held in Port Vila, from 9 to 12 July 2019. The Information Note entitled “SPECIAL CATEGORY VISA GRANTED TO PARTICIPANTS IN THE GLOBAL SYMPOSIUM FOR REGULATORS (GSR-19) AND THEIR ACCOMPANYING FAMILY MEMBERS” is reproduced at the following link for reference and use by ALL participants: pdf document The Special Category Visa is issued in any of the following documents and is valid for two weeks from the date of arrival. 1. Diplomatic passports
2. Official passports
3. Ordinary passports
4. United Nations Laissez-passer ALL participants (including those from countries that are visa exempt) MUST send a copy of their passport to the following e-mail addresses BDTmeetingsRegistration@itu.int and gsr19@trbr.vu as as soon as possible in order to receive a personalized letter from the Immigration Department of Vanuatu. ALL participants (including those from countries that are visa exempt) MUST present to the Immigration and Customs Officials the following documents on arrival in Vanuatu: 1. A valid passport (at least 6 months before the date of arrival in Vanuatu).
2. A personalized Special Category Visa letter issued by the Immigration Department of the Republic of Vanuatu.
3. The information Note from the Immigration Department of the Republic of Vanuatu entitled "SPECIAL CATEGORY VISA GRANTED TO PARTICIPANTS IN THE GLOBAL SYMPOSIUM FOR REGULATORS (GSR-19) AND THEIR ACCOMPANYING FAMILY MEMBERS", dated 29 May 2019.
4. A "Confirmation of Registration" letter issued by ITU. Transit visas

All participants MUST complete the online travel form here in order to ensure their transportation from, and to, Bauerfield International Airport as well as the shuttle service between their hotels and the event venue (Warwick Le Lagon Resort, Port Vila).
