​T I M Nurul Kabir is the Secretary General & CEO of Association of Mobile Telecom Operators of Bangladesh (AMTOB) which is the national apex body of all cellular mobile telecom operators of Bangladesh.

Mr. Kabir is the elected member of .ORG Global Advisory Council for 2012-2015 by Public Interest Registry (PIR). He is the Task force member of National Rural Connectivity and National ICT policy review committee of Bangladesh.
Mr. Kabir has 24 years’ experience with leading role in the fields of   e-Development, Telecom, ICT4D, Software & IT services development and contributed for improving the Bangladesh brand as a destination for IT and ITES outsourcing.  Kabir has been participating and contributing in WSIS Forums and Internet Governance Forums (IGF) on a national and international level since 2003.

Nurul Kabir has played an instrumental role in implementation of policy & process between Government and Private sector in Public Private Partnership (PPP) and Public Private Dialogue (PPD). He has been working as the top level Management in several leading National Trade Business Chambers & Associations in Bangladesh. He is the Co-founder and EC member of Intellectual Property Association of Bangladesh. 

Nurul Kabir is passionate about the multi-stakeholder inclusive model, the collaboration between government policy makers, private sectors, academia and civil society. He is also contributing as visiting professor in various leading universities by teaching Computer Science & Engineering; Business Strategy & Management, e-Business and Intellectual Property.
