ITU-FCDO Digital Inclusion Research and Training Materials

ITU and United Kingdom's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) have partnered together to work on achieving Digital Inclusion through promoting effective regulation, greater investment and innovative models for school connectivity in underserved communities.  The work has focussed on providing support to 5 countries: Brazil, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa. 

Through the research and training that have been developed, the project aims to promote digital inclusion in these countries and share the findings, lessons learnt and training that has been developed with other countries to help close the digital divide.

Consisting of 5 modules, from the beginning GIS, data and demonstration of open source practical tools. The Broadband Mapping training modules were developed by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) with the support of Governm ent of the United Kingdom Digital Access Programme (DAP) to promote effective regulation, greater investment, and innovative models for connectivity in unserved communities and for broader digital inclusion
