The Regional Cybersecurity Week in Muscat – Sultanate of Oman, from 28-31 October 2024, will be co-organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Arab Regional Cybersecurity Centre (ARCC), Oman, managed and operated by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT).
The Cybersecurity Week aims to bring together the cybersecurity community throughout the region while fostering international cooperation, and to share experiences, consolidate and enhance cooperation among Arab countries in the field of cybersecurity in general and identify clear mechanisms to tackle cyber threats and attacks.
During this week, several activities will be organized such:

Regional Cybersecurity Conference: Cybersecurity as an
Enabler for the Digital Economy, 28-29 October 2024-
FIRST Organization Seminar and the 16th OIC-CERT annual
conference : 29 October 2024- Regional and OIC-CERT Cyber Drill: 30-31 October 2024
Considering the practical nature of the event, we encourage participation of teams from ITU's member states, comprising a minimum of two members of your national CIRT. This team structure will allow to gain maximum benefit from the cyber threat simulations.
Registration Form will be closed on 25 Oct. 2024.
The insurance of participants must be covered by their administration. Participants who require an entry visa please send your passport copy to the email address arcc@mtcit.gov.om. to facilitate the Visa processing.
In order to facilitate the participation of delegates from the Developing Countries, there will be a limited number of Fellowships to cover the travel expenses of one delegate per eligible Member State. The interested countries should fill in the Fellowship Request Form (Annex 1), sign and validate it and return it to ITU no later than 16 August 2024.
