Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online

Warsaw old town.jpgThe 11th International Conference "Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online" will be  held in Warsaw, Poland on 19-20 September 2017.

The conference is organized by the Polish and German Safer Internet Centres, which have been working together within the European Commission’s Connecting Europe Facility Program. The co-organizer of the conference is the International Telecommunication Union. The main partner of the event is the Orange Foundation.

The conference will be held within the framework of the ITU European Regional Initiative EUR4 – Building confidence and security  in the use of telecommunications/ICTs, adopted by WTDC-14, Dubai.

Addressing a broad spectrum of issues related to the safety of children and young people on the Internet and targetting an audience of representatives of the education sector, NGOs, the judiciary and law enforcement agencies and Internet content service providers, the conference aims to raise awareness about the new challenges and opportunities in fighting online threats as well as to popularize best practices across different sectors.
