The International Forum ”The New Global Challenges in Cyber Security”,was held from 16-17 October 2018 in Bucharest, Romania.
Within the framework of the ITU European Regional Initiative on Building Confidence and Security in the use of Telecommunications/ICTs, adopted by the World Telecommunication Development Conference 2014 (WTDC-14), Dubai, this Forum was co-organized by the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and CERT-RO.
This event was highly relevant for representatives of Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs/CERTs/CIRTs), policy makers in Cybersecurity and law enforcement agencies. The topics for this year were range from policy developments at European and International level including capacity building tools and initiatives, to the implementation of new technologies in the cyber security field, as well as insights in the global threat landscape.
The event was conducted in English.
