ITU Symposium on Earth Stations on board Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) for the control and non-payload communications (CNPC)

Although the ITU Radiocommunication Bureau and the Institute of Air and Space Law (IASL), Faculty of Law, McGill University, Montreal, Canada have made their best efforts to attract international experts for the two days “ITU Symposium on Earth Stations on board UAS for the CNPC” due to take place on 24 – 25 April 2017 in Montreal, Canada, most of the specialists wishing to come and share their expertise has unfortunately to give up their participation due to other commitments for the planned period for the event on 24-25 April, either being involved in ITU study group activities in Geneva, or in national or interregional events.

Taking the above into account, both the ITU and IASL decided to postpone the UAS-drones symposium in Montreal at a more convenient period on the first part of next year ensuring non-conflictual or overlapping dates with other similar events.
