Yongshun Cai is currently working in ITU-T SG13 mainly on the subject of cloud computing and acting as one editor of draft recommendation "Requirements and capabilities for cloud computing based big data". He is one editor of ITU-T Recommendation Y.3510 “Cloud computing infrastructure requirements”. He is also the editors of several cloud computing and datacenter related standard working items in CCSA.
He received M.E. degree in computer engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2009. Since joined China Telecom Beijing Research Institute in 2009, he has engaged in research and development on cloud computing systems, including key technologies of distributed computing (clustering), system virtualization, Network Functions Virtualization, Software defined networking, density optimized server and so on.
