The proliferation of radiocommunication stations in urban and rural environments has raised public concerns regarding human exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF). Session 2: Issues related to EMF and the potential role of standards and policies in EMF management - Follow up actions for the country
There is much public concern about the issues surrounding the effects of electromagnetic fields on health. This session will act as a platform of discussion presenting some experiences from other Latin American countries and will identify some possible follow up actions to be undertaken in the Dominican Republic.
