Teodosio Pérez-Amaral is associate professor of Economics at Complutense University in Madrid. He previously held the position of staff economist at the Bank of Spain. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the University of California San Diego. He has also been a consultant to DIW of Berlin and Telefónica. Professor Pérez-Amaral holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California San Diego. He has published in academic journals, including the Oxford Bulletin of Economics, Econometric Theory, Applied Economics, Telecommunications Policy and Information Economics and Policy. His research covers topics in telecommunications economics and model construction and selection.
