Moshe Timothy Masonta (S'2010) is a Senior Researcher at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Meraka Unit, and a Doctorate candidate in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications technology), at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), Pretoria, South Africa. He received a B. Tech (Honours) degree in Electrical Engineering (2005) and a Masters in Technology degree (2008), both from TUT. He also holds an MSc in Electronic Engineering degree (2010) from Ecole Supérieure d'Ingénieurs en Electrotechnique et Electronique (ESIEE) de Paris, France.
His research interests are in dynamic spectrum access and management, cognitive radio systems, television white space spectrum, spectrum regulations and energy efficiency in wireless networks.
