Ignacio Tabares

Ignacio Tabares is an electronic engineer graduated in 2012 from the National University of Rosario (UNR), Argentina.

Since 2016 he serves as Management Technology Secretary. In the same area, he was Programs and Projects Undersecretary between 2015 and 2016, leading the project area of TICs and the strategic plan of technologies. Previously, he worked as Technical Assistant between 2014 and 2015.

In the academic field, he is an assistant professor (position earned by contest) in the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Engineering and Surveying of the National University of Rosario, where he lectures on Electromagnetism, Mechanics and Introduction to Physics.

Within the Research Workshop of Science and Technology Didactics of UNR, he carries out research works on the field of Physics didactics. He has written numerous scientific research papers and publications, and also has run several workshops for university teachers about physics teaching through models.

Until 2016 he was the National Secretary of the Association of Physics Teachers of Argentina. He is currently Local Autarchic Secretary of the city of Rosario.

He has worked in the nuclear reactor RA-4 located in Rosario, conducting a project of fine control of the stabilization reaction bars. He was later in charge of the maintenance area for a year.

He worked in the private sector as Head of Maintenance and Supervisor of Communication Networks and Technological Infrastructure.
